Detailed my daily driver

Hey, I have some Comet powder stuff hiding somewhere in the bathroom. I'll try it on someone's beater first and tell you the results.



Btw, I wonder if it is safe on my car's rain-sensor... or those LS430s with the factory water-repellant coating on the windshield... Hmmm...

~bw [/b]</blockquote>BW, the Comet or Bon Ami that you use to clean your bathroom is different than the stuff that you use on your windshield. I wouldn't try it. As for your other question, I would contact the manufacturer.
 
'06 Chevy HHR, 60K miles. It has been lowered 2" with Eibach springs, and KYB struts. Billett Grille, Chevy emblem on rear was sprayed to match the car, '67 Camaro "Chevrolet" emblems, many color matched painted engine parts (Mikenap and Michakaveli helped me spray these). Lightweight MSR wheels.

Process:

ONR Wash
Meguiar's Clay
M105, Flex, Meg's Burgundy Pad
Z-AIO, Flex, White LC, Flex
Wet Diamond is the LSP
Hyper Dressing 1:1 on the tires and engine bay

Yeah, that looks great! Color match looks pretty darn good, and it dresses up that engine bay nicely. Now if I could just stop coughing up blue, that'd be fantastic. :D
 
I just may have to be on the look out for another intake manifold for the Taurus to paint and color match to the car... Would look slick.
