Yea, they don't carry everything. They do have Poli-Seal though, I heard the stuff is pretty good too.

Optimum (OPT) Poli-Seal - 32 oz | Detailed Image

Pretty cheap too... Thinking of trying it. Anyone else know how it compares to D151?

Poliseal is great stuff on a well maintained car. It doesn't have much cut or cleaning ability compared to D151.

Looks (by a long shot), filling and ease of use are Poliseals strengths. The stuff really looks great.

Cleaning ability and cut are D151's strengths, this stuff works well to correct pretty trashed finishes, though its brother #66 is much better for making turds shine.

I have Meguiar's Ultimate Compound and SwirlX. What else should I get from DI?

1 x Lake Country 5" Backing Plate for Porter Cable 7424

2 x Lake Country Hydro Tech Cyan Light Cutting and Polishing Pad - 5.5 inch

2 x Lake Country Hydro Tech Tangerine Ultra Fine Polishing Pad - 5.5 inch

1 x Lake Country Blue Fine Finishing Pad - 5.5 inch

1 x Chemical Guys Extreme EZ-Creme Glaze with Acrylic Shine II - 16 oz

1 x Blackfire Wet Diamond with Polycharger - 16 oz

With that your pretty much set for anything! I'd try out the red crimson LC pad as its also designed for water based polishes (UC and SwirlX are water based)

BTW I notice you bought a backing plate too, did you buy the PC somewhere else separately?

I bought a PC back in 02/03 but have since lost the 6" backing plate and old LC pads (yellow, white, black/grey). Just started to getting into detailing again so i'm starting from scratch pretty much.

I took out the blue pad and added two crimson pads for the glaze and sealant. Also added ONR and a wash mitt.

Still deciding? Add a EZ Detail Mini brush- How to Detail Your Wheels, Tires and Wheel Wells – Detailed Image

Out of all my brushes: Raceglaze, Swissvax wheel brush, EZ Large and Small, the EZ is the one that does the most work as it does everything well (wheels, tight areas, agitating the under part of the front-vents (plastic)

Edit: also forgot to add that you should try Menzerna Power Lock instead of BFWD. I heard MPL is great stuff an rivals BFWD but is slightly easier to use and looks just as good. Im going to use it this weekend along with the other stuff :)

I agree, the EZ brushes are by far the best IMO and you can't go wrong with Menzerna, simply the best!!

This makes there clay bar medium grade like 15dollars. So I picked up 3 clay medium clay bars and two fine clay bars

Should I also get a nuba combo? If so, what would you get? What about other polishes?

I think i'm good on tires and wheels with APC+ and Meguiar's Endurance or Duragloss #253.

EDIT:

My friend has

Intensive Polish

Final Polish II

106FF

PO85U

should I just skip everything together and use those (with the PC)

Honestly, I think your good for now and if any time in the future you need something extra to the look, go for Autoglym HD at your local walmart for $35.

Polishes, UC and SwirlX are good, and can accomplish almost anything. They have the same cut as M105 and M205 (or at least very close).
