Using CG EZ Creme Glaze after all polishing is complete followed by Blackfire Wet Diamond is the slickest surface I have ever felt. Granted prep will give you the best look, but for pure slickness with 3-4 months of great protection, it's hard to beat.

stop making me want to buy things.

How would topping CGEZCG with BFWD affect it's 'feel'? You would ideally be feeling the sealant and not the glaze. It should feel identical since the top most layer is the same thing every time you do this combo.

Just a pondering outloud.

Just the way it preps the paint is crazy. Use it on speed 6 and work it into the paint. 1 small sized drop will do half a panel. It looks great on its own just doesn't provide anymore than 2-3 weeks of protection so topping with BFWD is the icing on the cake. I bet you use it 2-3 times it will become your go to combo for finishing after polishing.

Dj Have you had issue's with ez- creame glaze filling? I noticed on the website that it says:

The EZ Creme Glaze with Acrylic Shine II is a great way to quickly add lots of shine back to your paint. With just one application you will add dramatic depth and gloss that makes the paint look very deep. Apply the EZ Creme Glaze by hand or with a buffer and you'll instantly notice how it helps fill in imperfections and provide a more uniform appearance to the clear coat. This special formula helps fill in and ultra fine swirls, so they are not visible to the naked eye. The shine left behind is quite remarkable and gives you an unbelievable amount of gloss that really grabs the light for maximum reflection. The polymers included in this formula helps you get a longer lasting shine which differentiates this formula from other glazes. The versatility and impressive results make it extremely valuable for any detailer to have. Use it after applying polishes and before applying a sealant or wax. No matter where you use the EZ Creme Glaze in your routine you are sure to add more shine with this easy to use formula.

I know you give rave reveiws of the stuff. I would love to try it, but in all honesty. How can a product clean and prep a surface that contains fillers?

Barry it does also say....

Use it after applying polishes and before applying a sealant or wax. The acrylic based formula makes it compatible with both sealants and waxes

I have used it, but for a cleaner/prep for my LSP rather than as a glaze, I don't want to be a glaze spreader :usa IMO it doesn't really fill/hide unless applied heavily. :) :nixweiss Maybee I should try a 50/50 with and without on my own car to see the effect of it.

1- It is only used once the paint is properly corrected

2- Product descriptions aren't always correct

3- Try it for yourself and you will see

The name gives it a bad wrap as it contains the word glaze. Once I started using it multiple times I was amazed at how much it cleaned the paint. There has been a few times where I would do full correction on a test spot, pull it out in the sun and it looked awesome, then used the EZ Creme and pulled it back outside and some of the defects showed up again. That alone shows the cleaning properties. Also I have a hood split 50/50 and its been a little over 2 months and the side that had EZ creme after polishing and the side straight to the sealant, there is a noticeable difference in the beading and the slickness. The EZ Creme is acrylic based so that aids in the proper bonding. There are many top notch detailers who have used this and can tell you from experience. Just order some and try it yourself. Use on a black or white pad, speed 6 and 1 small dot will do half a panel. It cleans up polish residue as well.

I haven't tried either poli-seal nor d151 but just went through the process of which I was going to try first on a car I am going to be doing in the not to distant furture. I ordered d151. Hope it was a good decision! I ended up ordering from another site from which we get 10% all the time and had all the products I needed.

But, 15% off and free shipping sure would have been nice! Oh well, next time.

I have used both and find D151 to have much more corrective ability. Poli -Seal is nice to use if you have light correction to do and just want to amp up the shine. Finish-wise, I think Poli-Seal wins in the slickness category. I am going to be using Poli-Seal tomorrow on a Black Saab that has never been polished. Customer just wanted a wash/clay/wax, but I am going to test poli-seal on it with 4 different cutting/polishing pads to determine exactly how much cut it has with each pad and how it finishes down. With some of these newer polishes/compounds finishing so well after 1 step, I want to see how PS does.

Yup, he's right on. I started using this combo a few months ago and its my go to combo as well. I dont think you can beat it! And I top with some CG 50/50 if I want to go for a little extra..

And to touch on the cleaning abilities it has, when i did a full correction on a SS ferrari 348, I went at it with ez creme after polishing obviously and it removed a decent amount of paint with just using a black pad.

Also when I first tested this stuff out, I used it on my truck which had a few months old coat of bfwd on it still and not realizing the cleaning capabilities it had, (wouldn't ever do this on a customers car of course) but I didnt follow it up with a sealant, just wanted to see how it looked without anything else.. It gave my white truck a great reflection/gloss. It also ended up raining a few days later and the ez creme definitley removed any protection that was on there. No beading of water once so ever and the next wash i noticed the dirt was stuck to the paint a lot more than usual..

Anyways, its a great product, try it out. But if your looking for more of a "filler" type glaze try something else. I notice the sealants fill more than the ez creme does...

some items are priced way higher than other stores.

all the stuff I ordered was right on par with other stores.

I did notice their CG Grime Reaper was $10 more than CG itself sells it for, but CG is also doing a sale. I can't believe how cheap a gallon of grime reaper is at their factory direct store page.
