Detailed Elegance - Hammered Black 2010 BMW 750Li

It looks nice now. Did some of the marring come from the claying?

Thanks Al.
No, the marring was not caused by the clay. The car was an absolute mess. For whatever reason, the customer keeps the car outside 24/7 and is a regular visitor to the swirl-o-matics. It is such a beautiful car. I am not sure why someone would let it get trashed like that. I hope he will listen to me, and not take it through the tunnel washes anymore.

I know what the swirl-o-matics do to any cars paint, but have seen many cars older than this that use them regularly that are bad, but not this bad. I wonder if the car wash doesn't do proper maintenance to their wash to make it worse than others. Don't get me wrong I not supporting tunnel washes, but for a car less than a year old to look that bad they must use sand in their soap or don't clean their filters or what ever it is. The only time we use them is when our vehicles are white with salt and that new crap that even eats the brake and gas lines off a vehicle. I worry about the underside as much as the rest so I will run through and correct what ever is needed later to prevent body cancer from eating the car up.

He was lucky to find someone with your talent.

Looks great Barry
Thank you Sal

Thank you Ron.
I was also shocked to see a car less then a year old in this condition. Hopefully, I have now educated him enough to stay away. With a black car, you just can't go near those tunnel washes.
This customer is turning into a great source for referrals though.:Dancing Dot:

Great work Barry! I can't believe how bad that thing looked though for being a 2010. Such a shame as I love those cars. :(

Thanks Chad.
You are 100% correct. A 2010 750Li should not look this bad. It looks 100% better then it did before, but there was still room for improvement. I wish I would have had more time to work on it. Unfortunately, it is what it is. I am going back there to do anther car tomorrow, and after I am done, I will be giving it another wash and another coat of BFWD.
