Klasse vs. Zaino.

I currently am a Zaino user, but I am interested to hear what y'all think Pro/Con of each product are, and if you would recommend Klasse over Zaino.

Also with Klasse do you HAVE to do the AIO <em class='bbc'>as well as[/i] SG if you're topping with some carnauba, is it better to do so, etc.... Just looking for a change because I want to have the best stuff I can possibly get.

"beaten to death" doesn't even begin to describe that debate. I have put a lot of good threads in the Product Review forum and most of them are Zaino vs Klasse type threads. I would say search there first if you want to really get into the meat of the debate.

I'd give Sal Z a call or email about Klasse vs Zaino. He's got some VERY useful info about Klasse. I was once thinking of trying Klasse too, but it's my opinion that Zaino exceeds my expectations and is overall a better product. Obviously, this is only MY opinion FWIW.

One of my new customers wanted me to detail his 2010 Metallic Black BMW 750Li today. He only wanted me to do the paint correction, as the car was a disaster. It was covered in swirls and RIDS. It is a DD and kept outside 24/7. Another issue that I was going to have with this was time. I needed to be done by 3:30pm, so I didn't have a lot of time to work with. Since the car was covered in swirls, the customer had the car washed before I got there. Since I was doing paint correction anyway, it didn't really matter if they marred it up a little more.

I also wanted to finish it up with PO85RD that Jon (PAR Detailing), sent me a sample of, but unfortunately didn't have the time.

So here is my process:
Quick wipe down with ONR at QD strength
Clay - Blackfire Poly Clay with ONR as lube
Started polishing with M105 and a LC Orange on speed 6, but the clear was rock hard, and moved to M105 and Surbuf.
Multiple IPA wipe downs
Followed with M205 on LC Hydrotech Tangerine on speed 6.
Multiple IPA Wipe downs
LSP - BFWD x 1 coat. I will be adding a second coat next week.

Please forgive the picture quality, as the lighting in the shop I worked in was terrible.

Here we go.

Applied a coat of BFWD and pulled outside for some sun pics (I wish there was more sun).

Once again, I didn't do the wheel wells or dress the tires as time was the enemy.

I would like to thank Dave (Street Dreams), and Angelo for their advise over the phone. It was extremely helpful and much appreciated.

Thanks for looking.

She looks great Barry! I hate being under a strict time deadline. I always feel like things get rushed. I wish you could have used the 85rd on her but youll get to at some point.
Keep up the good work buddy!

Jon

Wow Barry! It was a great correction with the time you had. Hope the owner was happy when he pick it up.

Nice work Barry. I'm with Jon, I hate the time limited jobs but you do the best you can and that 7 series looks hugely better!

Thanks Jon.
I really wanted to have more time because the paint was in such bad shape. I was also chomping at the bit to try out the PO85RD. I will eventually get to it.
Thanks again.
Great job on some tough paint! Car looks deep and wet!
Thank you for the compliment! The paint was a bear.

Thanks Angelo.
The owner was so happy, that he got me three more customers to do over the next few weeks.
Great work Barry!
Very nice turnaround in the short amount of time
Thanks Luke.
Time is always an issue when you have to do a car at the customers place of work. If I had my own place to work out of, and the customer could drop off the car, it would be a whole lot easier.

Thanks for the kind words.
I wish the lighting in the shop was better, so you all could really see how much improvement there was.
Great job Barry. Looks like you've been keeping busy :spy:
Thanks Flash.
I'm trying buddy.
Nice work Barry, looks like that car was a bear to work on. Glad you stuck with it and made a great turnaround.

-Kody-
Thank you Kody.
That is very nice of you to say. Once I saw how little the Orange pad and M105 did, I knew that I was in for a fight.:Boxing:

Wow, it was hammered for a 2010. You made a big improvement, especially for the time limits you had. Nice turn around.

So Barry is given a tight deadline (maybe 7 hrs total) for polishing a turd into a swan :notworthy::notworthy:

Very nice job Barry :-B

Thanks Ron,
The customer takes the car to the swirl-o-matic on a regular basis. I told him that he really needs to stop that practice.

Thanks Harry.
I didn't even have time to stop for a quick bite. It was quite a challenge for sure.
great job Barry. Tight time line, black car, bad lighting, and hard clear coat. Its is like a reality show for detailers.
LMAO!
I think you might have something there Chad.
Thanks for the nice words.
