Detailed Elegance - 3 day detail / 2007 Audi Q7

Compounding was done with Opt Hyper COmpound w/Surbuf on GG 6" RO on Speed 6
POlishing was done with Opt. Hyper Polish on LC Hydrotech Tang. on speed 6 and then backed down to speed 3

On a side note I see you used Lexol leather cleaner... obviously you like it enough to use it. I have tried it and it didnt work well for me. Whats your process?

Thank you for th kind words. Yes the Lexol worked nicely for me. I sprayed it on and used a leather brush to scrub it in really well and get into all the crevaces. I then used a MF and had a bucket of warm water and soaked the MF then wringed it out to remove the excess product. I then followed woth the Lexol Conditioner.
 
Barry - I too have the Lexol leather cleaner and conditioner, but I found that the el-cheapo homebrew Woolite mixture seems to do a better job at removing dirt from the leather.. could be I use a toothbrush (soft bristles) instead of a larger leather brush. Still, you have a knack at cleaning that beastie!!:devil:
 
Day 3 - Job complete

Here is what I did on day 3.

Wipe down entire car with Optimum Instant Detailer & Gloss Enhancer
Clean plastic lens with screen cleaner and MF
Apply 1Z Gummi Pflege to all seals and gaskets
Apply SmartDressing to all exterior trim
Apply 2nd coat of BFWD
Clean windows with Distilled Water
Apply Blackfire Metal Sealant to wheels, exhaust tips, and all metal trim
Apply Poorboys Natural Lookl Dressing to rubber door hinges

All in all, the job took me about 18 hrs. and I am pleased with the results. Thank you all for taking the time to go on this 3 day journey with me.
