^^^^^ what he said!

I would love a shop setup, but just cant justify the cost right now!

30K a year is a lot to increase business by (shops around here are 1500 average or so @ 1.0-1.50/sqft, plus all the extra expenses and whatnot...

Thanks VP and Eric.

I know what you mean Eric. But leading up to getting this shop I had to turn away enough business the first 3 quarters of 2013 that I could have paid for a shop. As another guy who does this full time, you understand how much time is lost driving all over and setting up and breaking down for each and every job.

I kept busy before having this shop but no amount of planning would ever allow me to have this amount of work lined up in one spot that is 7 minutes from my house. (we typically have 2 or 3 weeks of work in the shop and take a few last moment jobs in between -this is more like 3 weeks of work)

props to you man...I envy what you have going on!

Eric, I appreciate the thought but I just wanted to impart what I experienced.

Seeing how busy you keep on facebook tells me you might be investing in a shop soon. You've got the right head on your shoulders to make it happen and be happy with the choice.

Can you tell what parts have paint protection film installed and what parts don't on this Corvette Grand Sport?

Hey! Great results dude!

I'm still a newbie when it comes to detailing.... but I was just wondering, what do you use to polish/remove scuffs, etc. from headlights, taillights and carbon fiber? Is it just regular or..? May be a stupid question, like I said, newbie. :)

Thank you!

Hi Tern,

For the most part you can treat those surfaces just like clear coat. You really want to keep an eye on heat though. Ideally, work those surfaces with as little heat as you can. Very slow passes with minimal pressure works well and tape off sensitive areas.

Great question.

Some stuff going on...

Ya know, just installing clear bra on this beeeeast :D -lots of extensive clear bra projects rolling through the shop.

My favorite? We've done a lot of very extensive projects since January 1. My favorite would probably be this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpB4DT4mWBo
