I was asked to check out this truck this last Sunday by my neighbors friend. I looked at it and was like :scared:

They asked me could i make it look better, and i answered of course, but its going to take a few days.

here is what it looked like when i brought it to the house to clean:

The paint was dull and lifeless. The shine you see just so happens because of the angle. But it was disguisting.

Anywho, i started washing the truck with Megs Gold Class, cleaned the arches with simple green and cleaned the tires with Eagle 1 A2Z cleaner. The wheels were steel wooled then polished with megs metal polish by hand.

Finally after the truck dried, i moved on to polish with my dewalt and megs so1o yellow wool and megs #83. Then moved on to polishing with megs 8006 buffing pad on the dewalt and #83 and then finished with #83 and the 8006 on my g100.

Paint before:

This combo removed most of the scratches and swirlz. Not all came out, but the customer wasnt too worried about those, but were more so worried with just bringing a shine back. As i was working the paint, my partner removed the tails and painted them black again.

After polishing, i topped the paint with Auto Glyms HD wax (awesome stuff!), dressed the tires with hot shine, the wells with Megs Hyper Dressing, mixed about 6-7 to 1. I wish i could have gotten a before of the interior, but i just wanted to get to work on this thing. The inside got Folexed in my Bissel, dash wiped with quik interior detailer, and windows cleaned with stoner IG.

heres the afters:

Nice work! Do you have any sun shots of the rear quarter panel? On the driverside.

you know what, ill be honest, I dont. :( Right after i took the pictures, i had to deliver it. Im going to be doing their other car soon, so when i do get the car, i will try to get pics of that quarter panel.

nice work man! Things looks great. The truck was seriously hammered in the before pics. Im sure they were totally happy with the way it turned out.

eek, i guess i should have done this in the click and brag? I do this as a side job/hobby when im not in school, and have done several cars that were not mine, not sure if that makes me a professional though.
