I am trying to PM you but your box is full.

Autopians: Tonight at 10:30 Eastern Standard Time there will be a chat session at www.yosteve.com

Thank you all for reading this post and I hope you can attend this chat session.

Sincerely,
Jason

yosteve, I was passing through your neck of the woods yesterday driving from Pitts to Cincy to Indy and stopped at a Big K-Mart and picked up the only bottle of Rain X Wheel Protectant there. I called up the Consumer Services line on the back of the bottle to try and track down more but they said that it has been discontinued. She had mentioned a store like 'Big Lots' may carry the remaining inventory of discontinued items.

Not sure if you knew or not, so stock up :)

damn it!

I guess I have to stock up. I'm going to try to contact the company too I guess. I also guess that my vouching for the product didn't allow it to sell that much :( :)

Nice to see that everyone has waxed wheels and cleanes them every few days with complete ease, as to not need something that prevents brake dust from sticking for just weekly washers like me (without resorting to wax stripping, products).

thanks for the heads up

(at least I still have the bottle that I was supposed to send to you :D )

This is vehicle number 3 from the owner of the previously posted rides. This is his wife's vehicle and stays outside 24/7. Durability was a must here.

Detail Description:
Exterior Detail with paint correction and protection.

Goal:
High level of exterior protection and durability.

Wash Cycle:
Dawn Wash (2 oz. per 2 gallons of water)...rinse.
then....
Meguiar's Gold Class Wash...rinse.
Clayed using Meguiar's Last touch 1:1

Paint Correction:
Meguiar's 205 via G110 using LC White 5.5" Polishing Pad

A complete wipedown was done using Meguiar's Detailer Line glass cleaner.

Paint Protection:
Collinite's #845 via G110 and LC 5.5 Red Finessing Pad.
Then....
Collinite's #476s by hand and Meguiar's hand pad.

The top, trim, and glass were protected by Optimum's Opti-Seal

Wheel Protection:
Since the rims were flat black, I decided on Optimum's Spray Car Wax.

Tire Protection:
Meguiar's Endurance Tire Gel

Wheel Wells:
Meguiar's All Season Dressing

The tires and wells were thorough degreased and then cleaned with Stoner's Tarminator. This leaves the rubber and plastic well prepped. Makes a huge difference in any dressings longevity. Try it. It works.

Time accumulated:
5 hours

No befores...it was very clean.
Just afters.....

Hey Justin... Nice work on the Jeep! I had a '74 Jeep Wrangler in Yellow. It had the V8 engine and that thing would scream! I love that Jeep.... Looks good, keep up the good work!

Nice work Justin!

Must have been a pain to dress the tires though, all those grooves. I know because I have BFG All Terrains on my truck.
