Meguiars Dual Action Polish Cleaner

Meguiars Swirl Free Polish

Clearkote Vanilla Moose Hand Glaze

S100 wax

It was definetly a lot of work. Both of these cars are 1991 Acura NSX's. The NSX I did yesterday was definetly major improvement.

The Black NSX.

Claybar

Swirl Free Polish

Clearkot Vanilla Moose Hand Glaze

S100

I'll get some pics tomorrow of the black one.

The red paint in the full car shot looks deep enough to do a high dive into! :bow

I agree with aj that you used a really good combination, one I have used on numerous occassions my ownself. ;)

cornershop,

S W E E T detailing my friend ! ! ! :bow :bow :bow

Both of those cars actually look like they are made of red and black colored water! Very liquid looking.

Did you use a PC, rotary, or was this all done by hand?

Again, great job on that ultra liquid look and great reflections!

Cheers,

What kind of pad/applicator did you use for each step of the polishing? (Foam, cotton towel, MF applicator, etc.)

on all the dual action polish cleaner steps, I use a terry cloth towel.

Ah yes, this man here. Scott has taught me everything.

Yea, I'll be at the meet. If I'm in Dallas next week, I'll call you up.

 If the weather is good, I'll be detailing during the daytime, so I might be hard to catch up with.

The paint quality on the black NSXs is amazing. They look so nice when they are done right.

Awesome details on two awesome cars :up :up

No wonder hes so good! HAHA jkjk man, awesome results. Scott, you should offere a detail clinic, if i were in Texas i would sure go to it.

WOW! Nice job.

What terry cloths do both you and Scott use in particular?

Also, is there anything in particular that should be done when applying DACP by hand? How long do you work it in? How many passes do you do?

3 hours is a short amount of time, especially considering that it took me 3 hours just to polish my paint with a PC and 3M's PI3MG!!

I've thought about it. Might be a good way to spend a few hours and make some nice money too.
