Detail King?

Has anyone used any of the products from Detail King? I am interested in their tire shine. It is supposed to be pretty shiny, and thats what I need. Everyone I detail for wants that extremely shiny look. I have tried Megs endurance HG, but it usually wears away pretty quick.

I know a trainer with Detail King and have corresponded with Nick (owner) for over a year. He is a good guy and his company does well. His training programs, now on the west coast, too, are great and affordable. I know of a few guys using his stuff, but haven't heard of that certain dressing. I believe he has a sample kit of products. I don't think you would be dissapointed in any business you did with him...that should mean something since we sell similar items.

Here's a copy of a message from Brian A. of the detailers association:

My buddy Rob (roadwarrior) gave me a Detail King sample set and he gives much praises for their Quick Step and One Step.

My favorite stand alone sealants are: Detail King's STS2000.

Hope this helps, Rob

Thanks guy, that does help alot. Now that I won't have a car payment for a little while I'm gonna be able to get some more supplies. :bounce

i use a bunch of his stuff, his green stuff, pink stuff, fabric guard, new car scent, bug and tar, there sealant, speed glaze, and other products there are great.

I use the Grape tire dressing from TOL. The shine isnt extremely shiny, but it last for about 2 weeks. It also accumilates over time, the more you put it on, the less you need. After a few hours of dry time, it will not sling off.

Too long for me.

This was my first thought also, but I can see how it would work alright if you washed, dried, dressed tires, then polished and eaxed. That should give it enought time to dry.
