Dent puller

David,

For some reason, my system flipped past the payment page. Can you tell me if my order was received ok?

If not, I will reenter. I am in.

Sam

Have not seen it...

After Sam, we still have a slot open that needs to be filled for me to book this order with Wurth.

Okay... we have all six need to make the group buy. I will work on the PO to Wurth later today to be faxed over tomorrow AM. Anyone else who wants in on the deal has until 10PM tonight (Pacific time) to get their order in. After that, it's the regular discount price.

Once you guys get your pullers, we should start a "How-To" thread and share techniques.

Best of luck and good business to all.

Jim, once you're done repairing your hail damage, are you keeping your MDP or will it be for sale?

David

After the hail dings are removed it will be listed for sale. I rarely get door dings as I'm pretty careful about where I park.

If anyone needs extra glue I've heard great things from a dentless repair forum about glue sold by Walmart in their craft section. It's supposed to be very high strength and cheap too!

Just placed my order, thanks David. I hope this little investment will pay for itself here in a month or so. Do you all think $30/panel is reasonable?

Greg... the pdr guys are getting $45 to $90 per ding. At the $90 per ding rate, they have all the tools needed to do a 95% repair on 80% of the dings they work on. My experience using the Wurth MDL is that it's going to work well on small, shallow dings. I'd price at $45 per ding or better.

Sorry for the late order David- I just found the thread about 5 minutes before I ordered. I love impulsive decisions, oh well got a call for 9 cars today.

I received my dent puller yesterday and the kit seems to be of good quality. A pack of towels, gloves, a plastic wedge for glue removal and a straightening cone was also included. The instructions I received, however seems to be for a slide hammer type dent lifter, but most of it can be adapted for our kits. I'm also sure that there will be plenty of tips posted here. I've already got a "volunteer" car lined up, hopefully the rain will hold off.

Thanks for the info Huy.

Anybody else get their kit yet? The first link Huy provided shows that a can of acetone cleaner is included in the kit, but there wasn't any in mine. :nixweiss

I just received mine today and there is a can of cleaner in mine. Now I've got to print out the English directions. : )

Brad

I guess the adhesive remover is extra or do you guys plan to use 3m adhesive remover in it's place?

Thanks,

Brad

Ok, now I'm confused. My kit came with a can of adhesive remover, not the acetone cleaner. I was planning on getting some 3m when the Wurth runs out, unless someone can suggest something better.

Whoops. Sorry there heckler. I think you are right. I was getting the two mixed up. The can in my kit is labeled, "Klebstoff-Entfernerspray". Is that what you have too? If so, then you are correct, we have the adhesive remover.

Brad

Still haven't received my Wurth Puller yet. :( In reading the PDR boards, they indicate you can use both rubbing alcohol and denatured alcohol.
