Dealer dropped off a car a week ago and hasn't been back, what are my options?

Well the guy he was with when they dropped the car off and his wife came to pick up the car this morning. They said the dealer got really sick and went in for surgery and is still laid up. I have no idea if it's true or not, but they were incredibly nice and I was in a good mood so I didn't hit them for any storage fees. In case they are telling the truth, I know I wouldn't want someone calling me a liar so I played nice. But they could have called to let me know, so I don't know, but they handed me cash so all seems well. They also dropped off the other car they were talking about. I told them about storage fees for anything in the future and got contact info so I can let them know when this one is done. I will give them the benefit of the doubt unless this one sits here for a week. Everything is getting a signature going forward.
 
Glad to see everything worked out OK. I think you handled it very well and it taught you to be a little more careful in the future as well. This can be a lesson to all of us to be a little more professional from now on.
 
Looks like you learned a very valuable lesson from this. Hopefully people reading this thread did too. I'm glad it worked out and hopefully you'll keep getting business from them.
