DC chat and paying membership?

Ok,
I am willing to pay for a DC membership to support the site, no doubt about it.
I had a question though, only supporting members are able to access chat, correct? The reason for that question is about payment for supporting......
is that the only way to pay, paypal? I have less than a buck in my paypal account...lol I can use a CC though.

All you have to do is contact Dwayne:

You can use a credit card through paypal even if there isn't money in your paypal account. That's the beauty of it. :)

That's how I do it all the time - then I have the "credit card" purchasing protection, so I feel a little better. :)
 
I paid! Lets all support Dwayne and DC by paying the small minute fee to keep the city running smoothly (fuzz: pun intended)

Wow. I don't know what to say. I really am humbled by all of the members that are showing support.

To those that signed up, is everything working properly? Did the ads disappear like magic?

No more ads, and upped my PM count a bit. Just waiting on chat. My PM box is almost at 100 from chatting through it...LOL
 
I paid about 10 minutes ago. $15 a year is virtually nothing. I'm glad to support the forum that taught me enough information to keep my car in the best condition possible. Not to mention that the information learned helps put some extra cash in my pocket.

If anybody is still sitting on the fence on this one, here's my take on it:

[MOTY lecture] $15.00 a year is only $1.25 / month. What else can you buy for that kind of change that gives so much education, entertainment & enjoyment as the City?
And if Dwayne asks for little "assistance" in improving it to keep it the best site for us, then let's help him out. [/MOTY lecture]


And, no, Rabbi, I didn't even try to stay out of it! ;)
