ive decided to use both the 3m polish for light cars (commonly known as SMR for dark cars) and PPCL before i apply zaino for my first time and after the clay bar. but which is more abrasive? which should i use first?



also, a side question, zaino does not caus any white hazing effects on exterior black plastic trim does it? im pretty sure it doesnt...

Use the clay first it can caus some swirling that you can polish out. If you polish first you can pick up paint contamination on your applicator pad and caus it to scratch the paint.

4. Zaino



Zaino will caus no hazing problems.

thanks, also for the SMR users, should i just use the basic foam applicator to use this 3M polish? im not sure if slight pressure is needed to apply somthing such as this since i think its mildly abrasive for removing swirls. or is gliding on a thin sheet all i need to do, kind of like zaino and waxes?

Use foam applicators. Start rubbing with firm even pressure , use less and less pressure as you rub.
