David's sheepskin mitts

I got some of David's sheepskin mitts when they were 2 for $12.95. This compares favorably with my Meguiar's mitt that was 1 for $12.95. I finally used the one from Autopia yesterday and I really like it. It is a bit thicker fur-wise than the Meg's, but not a lot. But the skin is much thicker and squishier. Plus, the mitt is a bit bigger and has a thumb (not that I put my hand in it). It feels more substantial and is half the price. I highly recommend it. I also have one like CMA sells and will have to try that out next time. It seems more wooly in the sense that the fur is more curled up. On the Meg's and David's, the fur is pretty straight. The cuff is also a bit nicer on the CMA one. But both David's and the CMA one are nice and thick and plush. If you like sheepskin mitts, you really ought to try the one David sells. :bigups

P.S., David's mitt is made in the USA if that sort of thing matters to you. The Meg's was made in China (much to my surprise) and I don't know about the CMA's origins.

Hmm, I intentionally posted in the "detailing" forum because I've only used this mitt one time, not really enough to review it... But no biggie.

Oh, I also wanted to mention that the Meg's and David's sheepskins have a little loop on them that I find useful for hanging the mitts to dry after use/washing. The CMA does not have this, so I used one of those pants hangars that clips onto things.
