David Fermani vs. Me on a classic Porsche (preview)

Cause I'm so backed up with getting write ups done amongst a trillion other things, and I thought the HDR photos looked cool, so I couldn't wait to share them.

Well then, it seems clear that we need to get you some help

A personal assistant would be a good start. They could handle all the pesky chores that take up so much time :wizard:

Sounds like a good pitch for a raise

I don't believe I've ever seen a 911 that color. If you would've described it to me I'd probably barf as green is my least favorite on cars or bikes. However, it's stunning after your primo work.

Small place, huh?

2 days, about 12 hours a piece. 1 great dinner from nearby forum member Harley Guy. A couple of after pictures...

Beautiful car !

Fabulous job :notworthy::notworthy::notworthy:

Looks late 1960's. Maybe 1965 ?

It's hard to keep up with all you're doing. Up here in NC, it's crap weather and detailing is dead. I just have to say - amazing work, you always seem to hit another level when most guys would have tapped out, and if I was in S Fla, I'd give you a hand, just to learn.

Great job Todd and Dave. I heard about your dinner, you can't beat how nice Adam is.

This is 1000000000000% true. Adam is hands down one of the nicest guys in the world, period. He goes out of his way to help anybody and does so with a smile. He is a great person and I am lucky to call him a friend, even if we only see eachother twice a year.

Adam for president IMO.

He helped Hermann and I when we flew in for the PRI show. To and from the airport and drove us around for dinner. One of the few stand up guys that really mean it when they help you out. You do not find a person like Adam very often. Looks like I will needing his help when I fly in for Detail Fest also-lol.

Thanks for the props Todd always a pleasure spending time with you.Doesn't matter to me if it's a car show or a dinner always nice to have some company.

What can i say Dana is a really great guy and an awesome detailer. If he comes down for DF i suggest anyone who can make it over to DF show up .One to meet Dana and too watch the sparks fly LOL.

Hey, I remember that Green car. I'm getting a sore back just thinking about it! I'd slit my wrists if I worked this hard all the time. Either that or my wife would. :D

Thanks again for everything. Todd's a 100% class act in every facet of the business. Great team work. Numero Uno De Belle Machina!! La Perfezione!

And Adam, I'll take my fillet Medium next time. :D Thanks for your hospitality.

Teasing isn't nice! But all in all, great to see two talented pro's teaming up to join forces. I look forward to the full write-up / more pics :)

Hands down one of the greatest Porsche built, you have more pics on it?

For you. I have about 200 pictures, I actually did this car over about 18 months ago and never got around to doing a write up. It's been so long that I can barely remember what we used, although we spent 2 1/2 days on it.

Maybe this goes without saying, but starting detailers think a big SUV or mini van from hell is the worst, been there - done that, and honestly, it was a little Mini Cooper S that got my roids hanging out. It was so hard to get those tight places and curves every square inch. That said, looking at those Porshe's, my back goes out to you two.
