I always felt that he wasn`t taken seriously by a lot of folks, and/or that people who weren`t in his shoes could be quick to pass judgement on him.

The antics of The Monkey`s and The Partridge Family on TV were forerunners and the blueprint for MTV and music videos. Few people remember that.
"I Think I Love You" , one of The Partridge Family`s biggest and well-know songs, still plays in my mind as an adolescent teenager.
I can still see David Cassidy`s face plastered on the front cover of Teen Beat magazine in grocery stores or drug stores magazine sections!!
