Dashboard sponge?

I have some..not that brand. Never used on a dash before. They came out years ago as a way to clean fireplace brick. They are fantastic on lampshades so I would imagine they would no well on a "dry" dash.

I've tried it. Works ok on dust/light dirt. MF works better for dusting.

Does bunch up pet hair. Didn't seem to do too much on cig. smoke stained cloth. Did wipe off some dirt from the cloth.

Overall, it didn't make me throw it in disgust, but I haven't run out and stock piled them either. I would say that I can live without it.

I just thought of this, but it would probably be good for cleaning alacantra and similar materials that can not get too wet. The times I have used it on lint and pet hair, it became soiled from the upholstery. So, it does clean.
