I've had the exact same problem of fading where I rest my elbow when driving our cars (Infinti G35 and my wife's Honda Accord). The ONLY dressing that I found that works is Black Again (link below). I know it says for exterior trim but it really worked well to restore the faded parts of the door on both of the cars. Now it is shiny and "greasy" at first but if you don't use too much and buff it off- it looks great and stays that way for about 2 months (my experience only). It never feels greasy after being applied sparingly and buffed though. It's also inexpensive as well. Hope this helps! Let us know what you use that works.
