+1... $200 would be at most 8hrs for me... unless I quote someone an exact price, then take longer, I won't go back on my word...

Anyways, I'm kind of dissappointed, the owner showed up, looked at the car, scratched at the bumper and really didn't say all that much, and then he left I guess he didn't think I did too great of job or maybe he was mad at an 18 year charging him $200 for 10 hours of work??? Whatever the reason, its nice to see your guy's compliments, at least someone appreciates all of the work I put into the car.

People can be very poor at judging how bad their paint is, and how much work goes into making paint look as good as you made his look. Don't take it personally, and don't become discouraged.

there are customers like that. I usually just let the work speaks for itself. As long if if I know i've done my best. What else can you do? It's not like they can do a better job. By that time, they've probably swirled the car even more. Nevertheless Great work.

I'm real impressed that you got that kind of correction via PC - I never could. Afters look great, and it's a shame the owner wasn't more appreciative. There is no way he didn't think it looked great - he's probably just one of those a-holes who never says thanks for anything.
