Danase Wet Glaze vs. CK RMG

OK, I'm going to try to polish my girlfriends Red Neon this weekend. I clayed it and gave it a quick polish with DG 2 months ago, but didn't have time to do much correction. I'm going to use SIP with my Hitachi on either an yellow or orange CCS pad for starters, then 106FF with white. After than I want to use my PC with a glaze. I have RMG now, and Danase Wet Glaze will be here tomorrow. What would you suggest?? I'm looking for the red to look dripping wet!! Then I may follow up with EX-P or Z-CS or OS...

Also, the read '02s had single stage paint on the rear bumper. What is the best way to keep it shining like the rest of the car??

Thanks

If you are going to use a sealant then use the Wet Glaze b/c it plays very well with sealants and also nubas. I reserve my rmg for nuba toppers.

I haven't used the Wet Glaze yet but RMG is an absolute favourite of mine.

What are you topping RMG with??? I really like RMG as well. Wonder what would happen if you topped RMG with Wet Glaze??

That's an interesting question. I have read where some people have suggested 2 coats of RMG. I only use one. I top it with PS on my own car or top it with FMJ followed by collinite for a customer's car...they get the good protection, mine I wax often just for fun!!:D

If the weather cooperates this weekend I may try it. Don't know if I'll top that with EX-P or OS. I might just top them with both just to see what happens.

I do not think the Mix will work ..since the RMG is oil based and DWG is a acrylic base....the oils may off set the acrylics....

RMG works well under EX-P

Yeah, I have done that... I'm wondering if Wet Glaze will bond to RMG? I really like the look of RMG on reds and dark color and keep hearing great things about DWG. I guess I can just try a panel this weekend to see how it comes out.
