Looks great!! I am a firm believer in #16 x 2, but the second coat after your first wash...Adds depth and more protection.

That's exactly how I did it....what was funny is my wife has a Jeep Liberty thet is not so dark red and I was going to add a second coat to her topo and did the hood as a test...noticed no diferance at all.

Looking great. I have noticed the same thing about #16 - It looks amazing on some colors, but on certain colors and layered over certain things, it doesn't do much in terms of improving looks.
