New client brought in his daily driven air cooled for some much needed and appreciated correction and protection. Car is in tip top mechanical condition and needed the paint/etc to be brought up to par with the drivetrain!
Paint was full of swirls, scratches, chips, dull/faded/lifeless paint and some water spotting.
Paint was factory single stage with a few panels base/clear after they were repainted.

The ‘details’:

Adam’s tire and rubber cleaner.
Adam’s wheel cleaner.
Adam’s strip wash.
McKee’s37 iron remover.
Master Blaster to dry.
DeFelsko PTG.
Scangrip lighting.
Flex 3401, pixie and Rupes iBrid.
LC force hybrid pads.
Griot’s FCC and Perfecting Cream.
Optimum panel wipe.
SPS Graphene coating.
Gyeon Tire dressing.
Autofinesse glass cleaner.
Metro vacuum.
303 Interior protectant.

Thanks for looking!

Sizzle Chest:
As always, excellent workmanship. I assume you did not remove the wheels, as I saw no pics or mention of you doing this. How much of this 911 was white single-stage paint (I assume original paint)and how much was repainted with clear-coat??

Hard to believe this 911 IS a daily driver with THAT many miles on it, BUT then again, I assume the owner lives in Florida and that year-round driving of a rear-wheel drive sports car is common.
(Don`t try this in Northeast Wisconsin in January unless it`s a 911 Carrera-4 with Blizzaks/Ice-Xs on all fours!)

AND, my wife commented that the one photo of the higher (you standing up) direct front view looking at the headlights and hood, that this 911 looks like a clean-white Japanese Artificial Intelligence robot built by Sony or Honda. It does have a unique "smile" to it.

LOVE this particular color and styling of 911. It reminds me a little of the 980 Porsche Carrera GT Super Car. What an air-cooled iconic car!! Thanks again for posting.

Thank you Lonnie! Only one fender and partial of another were repainted. The rest was all original SS.

You are correct, I did not remove the wheels. The owner will have those and the calipers refinished at a later date and they then may receive some attention.

Ha! I does look a bit like a robot!

Thanks again!

WOW. Really nice work, as always, on a phenomenal car. I LOVE that the owner daily drives it!!! There`s just something about an air-cooled 911 that has me sighing with fond memories - back then, there was no way I could ever afford something like that. Even now, I would do evil things for a 993 Turbo S.... haha.
Thank you for taking the time and effort to post up summaries like this. I greatly appreciate it, and view these threads with a huge grin on my face, every time.

Sizzle Chest, it’s rare that I see a 911 with that paint look that great. It’s certainly the best I’ve seen.

Bravo!
