DA Microfiber System....Honda Civic

I know you don't agree with this, but if the swirls are very minor, then they will only be in the Klasse SG layers (that is, if you had Klasse on the car). While I understand your skepticism, curiousity alone would make me want to try it. When I get some marring in my Zaino coats, a quick application of Z-5 pretty much takes care of it for me.

Wash every 2-3 days? Wow! :bow

Very interesting test, and I agree that if you have some auto enthusiast nearby their impressions of your paint will probably be the most accurate. Like Carguy I also wash my black car at least once a week and I have tried Klasse AIO+SG, Zaino Z2 Z5, and Meguiars Gold Class and although I admit that Gold Class has the least protective properties, it sure gets some rave review from a couple of black car owners I work with ( they both went out a bought the GC paste). The GC paste wax is very oily but it does give the black car a deep wet shine. I would love to see Souveran up against GC, before I purchase this product for $65. I intend on splitting a container of Souveran with a fellow black car owner in April in a detailing outing.

Which brings me back to my previous question that I have asked before, what would happen if you put Gold Class on top of Klasse???????

Having trouble catching the difference between the two with a camera. I'll have to say that Gold Class was kicking butt in the beginning but Klasse is definitely winning now! Still looks like the day I applied it.

Here is the passenger side with gold class.

<strong class='bbc'>Do you guys think the Gold Class could be gone?

I just washed my truck and that side didn't really look like it was beading well. [/b]</blockquote>
Gold Class does diminish rather quickly, especially depending on what you use to wash with. I just put a coat on my blazer and I can't say I expect it to last more than 2 weeks.....

I agree, for this test, I was talking about a seperate completely different test. If you had seen my post before like I was reffering to, I was asking if anybody had tried Gold Class on top of Klasse before, and I thought it might be a good idea. Or, I thought somebody might have some insight on what might happen if this was tried. Sooo, anybody???

:nixweiss Both sides look equally good to me-but as has been pointed out by others, you really have to see the results in person.

You now might want to try Meguiars #26 against Klasse, or even against Gold Class, and I think you will find that #26 outshines GC and lasts far longer. I regularly wash a couple of Lexus LS 400s every two weeks, and even after 5 months since the last #26 wax job (they tend to be somewhat cheap and only get the cars waxed every 4 months or so), they were still beading. They do have covered parking and I am the only one who washes them, so I do get to control how they are maintained, so that may make a difference in how long #26 protects the paint. I am sure if they ran their cars through a gas station car wash every time they got gas, the wax wouldn't protect as long.

As far as GC goes, it has a great intial shine, but it just doesn't last very long at all. It is one Meguiars product (other than Endurance tire gel) that I am just not very fond of.

Does GC have cleaners in it? I think it may, if so you can't layer it on top of Klasse, becaus it would remove the Klasse layer.

I've found #7/#26 to shine as well as Gold Class and it lasts much longer.

I'm going to try some Medallion and some One Grand Blitz this summer for comparison, but have always been pleased with #26.

Here?s a little Honda Civic. Owner is selling it and decided to get it back to ?better than new? condition.
