good day all. i have done a lot of research on this subject and i am still not sure, so i thought i would enlist your help. i have a D/A PC, it has done a good job, but i am thinking about getting a rotary. i have heard from several that o rotary is not needed and that a D/A will be enough. But i am thinking of doing details for some pocket money and want to be ready for almost anything. any and all info would be greatly appreciated.

If you want to make money with a rotary, you need a lot of practice beforehand. You can do a lot of damage very quickly if you're inexperienced.

Get a rotary and practice, practice, practice...then worry about making money. Stick with a D/A for now for your money making.

Once you get good with a rotary, you can demote your PC to waxing duties only...cause that's about all they're good for :P

Get a rotary and just use finishing pads on your cars

with fine polishes like 106FF or such, you will be surprised how easy it is

just stay below 1600RPM for starters, in general no need to pass 2000RPM

at any level.

Thats what I did, now I detail all of my cars, I also have PC and Flex looking pretty.

well i understand the "no need to go fast", but i am hearing people say that a pc bogs down under pressure. i didnt think you had to apply that much pressure to correct anything and didnt want to start a car and have it look like **** because i didnt have enough power or torque

Thats why people buy Flex, to me I think a flex will be a nice step up, might be a huge one.

You will correct defects with half the time on the PC, and almost always finish perfect

with it. not only that but I also noticed it achieving 90% of the rotary look

and you really can't tell the difference unless you did a car with 0 orange peel.

if you must use the rotary use it on flat surfaces in the begging.

also you will be surprised how a white LC pad on the rotary corrects, it does

a really good job on some horrible stuff so does the Flex!

A flex will never bug down.

so i dont really need a rotary for any type of corrections? i just have always see old schoolers using rotarys and they get amazing results. i got good results with my pc, i'll probably buy a rotary just for the hell of it.

look up "buffing with confidence" DVD.

it is always good to have it, some "pro's" who I have met are owning it as will.

Good how to and review of products of almost everything you need to know
