Cyclo vs. PC - Pros, Cons, Differences?

Oh man, do I wish. That would just be perfect! I already emailed Eric Dunn from Lake Country to see what they have in the works. I should receive a reply by tomorrow, and will let you know.

Hmm.. a while back now he told me he worked out a deal with Autopia to sell them :nixweiss Guess David's waiting delivery

I don't know but be assured that I will do everything to find out. I've got to say that the Sonus pads are the best thing since sliced bread for the PC. I absolutely LOVE them and my cars have never looked better. So if the Cyclo is as good as everyone is saying and then it gets a good pad upgrade, it should be even that much better!

Okay.....so if the cyclo is basically just a PC with twin heads running at speed 5 or 6, how is it *better* than a PC? Finish wise I mean.

Equal finish, less time.

One thing with the cyclo you do have to watch using it with one hand is it tends to pull itself along.

This just in:

According to Lake Country - Autogeek has the new 4" spot buff pads that work on the cyclo.

According to David O. - He is ordering Sonus 4" pads today and will be in within 3 weeks.

Sounds like I bought my Cyclo at the ideal time!

I don't see those pads on Autogeek :nixweiss

Oh well, Its not like a don't have LC pads I have 6 of each: polishing and cutting and I'll probably want to try both the Sonus and the new orange Cyclo brand pads any way.

-Did the beast arrive yet? Please share your thoughts/experience. I'm very interested in getting a cyclo too. My main thing is to have a machine that does MORE than a PC. If it's basically giving you PC results, just a lot quicker, I'll probably stick to using the PC & Rotary for the tuff stuff.

I'm really starting to get excited about purchasing a Cyclo. For me detailing is a hobby that I really enjoy, and a Cyclo would add a little excitement to the mix. I have had my PC for a little over 2 years now, and while I really love it, there are times I would like a little more umph.

Plus I think the Cyclo is kind of cool looking, and the neighbors that already think I am a lunatic are sure to take notice.

Well guys, I just got my cyclo kit yesterday but haven't gotten around to trying it out yet. I pulled it out of the box and checked it out, and so far so good. The weather down here has been pretty nasty but is supposed to get a lot better, so I will try it out soon and post my findings.

Jdookie, So how do you like your new cyclo? Do you find it more effective than the PC? Any vibration?

I ordered one last week and it should be here in time for the weekend. I can't wait to try it out!

Unfortunately, I've just been too busy to detail anything lately and when I do actually have the time, the weather goes south. We are looking at good weather for at least the next for or five days, so I am hoping to try it out then.

So far, the only thing I have detailed is the Cyclo itself!! I was bored and have been staring at this box for the last two weeks, so I pulled it out and threw some AIO + SG on it!! I felt a little silly doing this, but it does look better now and at least I know it will stay looking as good as new!
