Cut down handi-grip applicator for waxing

I just cut a handi-grip foam applicator down to the size of a wax applicator and left the handle alone. Worked really well and was easy to do with a little patience. It is much easier to apply wax with an applicator with a handle. I was getting tired of the applicator that came with my P21s. Has anyone else done this?

I feel the same way, I think it's useless but many people really like that applicator.

Do any of you use the Handi-grip for the following.



I just find it so easy to use (and I don't cut it)



Pre-wax cleaners/polishes (like Sonus PC)

Pre-LSP (like AIO)

Sealants (like UPP)

Carnuba (like P21S)
