Customers Cars...How long to detail each one?

Even 6 hours is fast to me for a trashed out exterior. Maybe my process is wrong or I am too picky. I'll spend an easy 8 hours for polish with a PC; DACP-IP-FPII, then AIO, then wax by hand. Then tires, windows, trim.

Scottwax, do you use a PC or rotary?

A 5 step process on the paint is going to take time. On most vehicles, I can two step them. You might want to try Optimum, AIO then wax and see if you can get equal results with 3 steps instead of 5.

For me it takes 5 - 6 hours to do what you mentioned, sometimes more. It is the intial prep stage that takes the longest for me. The trim can be a bit time consuming to get it done right.

After polishing, the rest is "cake". I then buzz the car with VM, RMG or Omega Glaze on my PC and then top with a carnauba. I don't use sealants.

I hate cleaning floor mats! Just thought I'd share that.
