Curing/Application times....

Hmm, I know you did that Intel486 from a previous thread, but I said I wouldn't purely from a laziness view (adds extra step) :p. But now when I think about it, when I was layering SG day-to-day 24 hours apart, I QD'd it first anyway - I probably should have done exactly what you did! :doh Oh well, next time...

so is it okay to wash you vehicle before you buff off the sg? since I don't have a garage either, I was thinking to place the sg on, wait a few hours, then rewash the vehicle to buff off the sg in the process. I figure this is the best way to prevent any random dirt or other nasties from scratching when I buff the car.

will this work or would it affect the sg curing/bonding process?

I've heard some people say you shouldn't get your car wet for like 3 days after applying a sealant... that is really hard for me to do since it rains here everyday!

I think it would be fine to wash your car and then buff the SG off. You might want to wait a little longer than a few hours though.

So, lemme get this straight....

Pinnacle Souveran has a setup (before buffing) time of 1-2 minutes and a curing (between coats) time of 12-48 hours.

Klasse All-In-One has a setup (before buffing) time of 0 minutes and a curing (between coats) time of 0 minutes.

Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze has a setup (before buffing) time of 1 hour and a curing (between coats) time of 24 hours.

Would everyone pretty much agree with this?

PS: Anybody got any ideas on how to keep the car dust/dirt/bird bomb free without a garage?? I was thinking of buying a very large tarp from a hardware store....lemme know...
I can't speak for the Pinnacle, but you're right on the money with the Klasse twins. Personally, I don't have multiple days to wait between layers, so I wait 20 mins to buff off then take a break for an hour or 2 and then add another layer.
