Cure time for touch up paint?

Do most of you feel that touch up paint requires an extended cure time?
I have always tried to allow about 30 days before waxing/sealing new paint, including touch up jobs.
Any opinions?

never really gave it much thought, but I'd imagine you'd have to wait just as long as a repaint depending on how big the touch up is...I probably wouldn't wait on small touch ups like chips more than a couple days though:hmmm:

A couple of small chips are what I need to work on. Smaller than the head of a pin.
I have noticed that the "blob" of touch up paint will shrink a great deal over the course of a week. Because of that, I have been leery of waxing/sealing too soon after the touch up application.
It's probably best if I just wait even though I really want to get the vehicles ready for the coming winter.
It seems like any time I try to shortcut or rush a job, I regret it.

I had a door and fender re-painted and waited the 30 days before polishing and sealing without any problems at all.
