ADVS1 you chill the QD or you can use distilled water to mist the wax so it will harden and cure instantly. Atleast this is what I have learned by reading so if I am wrong guys please correct me.

i thought part of the process was to let the wax harden and cure on its own? by introducing a variable to speed the process might not some of the product not bond correctly or enough to the surface? i guess since i've never heard of this practice it sounds strange.

Wow great site. Never seen it before. Thats exactly how I apply my Vintage. Except I put a small amount of OID in my water solution. And remember that prep is the the key. PO85RD and RMG or Meg #7 works wonders.
