Craziest thing you have found in a detail

detailed a car for a nurse ...found a vial of morphine in the door panel pocket ..i forgot to mention that when she picked up her car
 
I have found some thing like $1300 under a seat, said she didn't know it was there. A few years ago at a detail shop I was working at I found a lady's "speacial toy"
 
Let's see: petrified McDonald's happy meals, tampons (new - thank God), condoms in the pack, half a joint, and a thong.
 
lots of french fries stuck to the ceiling in a tahoe ..when someone calls about one i used to ask what color ....now i ask how many kids!!!!!!! for real
 
I used to work for my friend that owns an Avis Rent a car franchise, we had to repo a rental one time that someone wasnt paying for. When we took it back to the shop and opened the trunk there was a grocery bag filled with packages of ground beef. It appeared to be in there for over a week in the dead of summer. There was pepsi spilled all over the dash and ants crawling all through the speedometer and instrument cluster! The smell was overwhelming.
 
In an RV party bus: Tampons (used), condoms (used), thongs, mold filled refridgerator

Regular vehicles: Crappy diapers, molded sandwich in a bag (think it was a sandwich), vibrator, drugs, vomit, and dog crap..... yes, dog crap.

I guess I'm lucky. I did run across a used condom once. I found a hand gun in a car bought from auction once. That's all I can think of after almost 20 years of detailing cars. :hmmm:

I have an account that the cars I clean are havens for spiders. I have to be careful because Black Widows keep nesting in the trunk seals.

Yea, I had some nice dry heaves. I think the one that took the cake was an expedition that had a 50lb. bag of catfish food break open in the rear cargo area. It shouldn't have been bad, but a gallon jug of water also broke open and made slush out of it. From what I understand, catfish food is made from fish as well? Or an ingredient in it? Correct me if I'm wrong. But the smell at 7AM made me lose my breakfast, over and over... lol That was a looooong day:surrender

Never came across spiders, just red ants.
The dealership I have a contract with, told me to look under the cars first when I started. I was like :hmmm:. Come to find out, the lot in the back where they store some cars, is by a huge field. I guess rattle snakes like to come out and lay beneath the cars to get out of the sun. :eek: Never seen one yet, not sure I care to either.....
 
Several nasty dipers and an unknown needle was found once. It really doesn't get more nasty than that in my opinion.
 
I once cleaned out a car for a neighbor. Found a sippy cup. Sealed and everything. Looked to be full of clear fluid. I thought, maybe it was Kool-Aid or lemonade and I can dump this out and clean it up...

It WAS formula.

All the solids had congealed in the lid of the cup where they couldn't be seen (or smelled) until opening.

After I finished washing my hands and face, put on a clean shirt, and got back to the car, that sippy cup went in the same trash dumpster I put all the other crap out of that car.
 
When I was doing used car clean ups I found everything and anything including a .38 snub nose....loaded:eek:
 
I did an entire article on this on my website which is here. Since I live in a college town you can imagine what kind of things I find and how the insides may look. I have learned to look the other way and just leave things where they are. But the list ranges from sex toys to dirty diapers and things in between
