Cquartz: The final Edition

I've been hearing so much about these Royal Velvet towels I had to get some right... So I go to the outlet store and get 6 of the beach sized towels with s/h charges for under 60.00

I didn't think I got enough but in reality I got enough royal velvet towels to make over 45 squares, each being around 6 inches in width and 12 in lenght.... I thought it wasn't going to be enough but jeepers creepers, for crying out loud, I could of used one in the bathroom. Guess I'm sticking with the old k-mart towels for the human (me) and the royal velvets for the car.

They really are good, I have different colors for washing, polish, wax, qd'ing....

I would recommend these towels to anyone who wants just about the best cotton towel you can buy (I haven't tried every towel out there so I can swear these are the best).

The Cquartz I had been sent previously was not the final edition of it; it was a beta or test sample. (I call it beta and Avi called it a "test" sample: whatever the difference may be, it was not the final product). I did the last 2 doors on the passenger side. I also went over the whole front section (2 fenders and hood) with Cquartz. I layered it over the Aquartz. There were no issues whatsoever in bonding. Here are some pics of the final product:

Looks great Richy.
Have you compared it to Opti-Coat? What are the advantages you see over the A-Quartz?

Barry, yes I have. In fact, my FX was a rolling test bed for OC, AQ and the (beta/test) version of CQ. The AQ was a PITA to apply, pure and simple. It looked great after it was done, but it was quite difficult to get it done well. The CQ is just as easy as the OC. Either one is great. I'll give the nod to CQ for slickness and its coating is supposed to be harder which is a big deal to me. The advantage OC has is when you take the leaf blower to it..it dries 99% completely. Amazing to see, really. I have a video on youtube showing the difference between the OC and the AQ and test CQ. You can't go wrong with either OC or CQ...both are amazing. On my FX, the driver's side 2 doors are done with OC, the rest with CQ. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the update Richy! After watching your videos I'm even more impressed then I was. Now if only I could aquire some of this magical creation!

To quote David Carradine "Patience, Grasshopper". Avi is working on making more sources available soon. When I know, I will share it here too. You can also order directly through Avi like I did, but the shipping is more expensive that way. Hopefully there'll be an announcement soon.
