Count me in---S100

Well you can count me as a believer in S100!! It was a balmy 50 degrees out today so I broke out the S100/SEC and went to work..

Meg GC shampoo

SEC

IHG

S100 x2

All I can say is AWESOME!! Its everything all you guys said it would be!! Went on like hot butter and buffed off easily..No residue or staining on black trim. I was using Z last year and although I liked the Z a lot....It really doesnt compare to the look of S100...I am willing to give up some durability for ease of use and that deep wet shine...I was using Blitz before and I dont think Im going to be going back to it for the reasons everyone already knows..

I did notice that adding IHG in th middle really made a big difference..When I use that up Im gonna try some Vanilla Moose.

And on top of that there is a Harley dealer about 20 min from my house!!

Lone Wolf,

I totally agree. S100/P21S is one of the best and easiest to use waxes ever made! :D I wish all car care products are as easy to use as S100/P21S and SEPC/GEPC.

What color is your car. If you have a dark colored car and if you get a chance, Souveran wax is also a great product.

Post some pics if you can.

Cheers,

My Black 7 Series

I knew you'd like it, Joe. It's great stuff for the price.

But I'm gonna stop recommending stuff to you. I afraid your wife is gonna hunt me down after all the money you've spent on car care stuff. "How much car wax do you need? That guy needs to shut up!!"

j/k of course. Glad you like the S100. :up :up

HEHE..Are you kidding me Brett?? Ive spent so much money on other things that a few measly bucks for waxes wont even register!! Lets see..13$ for wax and $4200 for John Deere!! She was already in shock when I got the JD so the wax was nothing..Also didnt hurt that I gave her car a few coats of Blackfire:p and a full interior detail..gotta keep the boss happy:cool:

AMP99..I have a fire red Dakota..A friend has some Souveran and he is gonna let me try it..Ill try to get some pics..I think Ill go out and put another coat of S100 on for the fun of it!!

...I was using Blitz before and I dont think Im going to be going back to it for the reasons everyone already knows ..

ok i'm feeling dumb here, whats the reason

i would also like to try s100, i'm getting tired of Z's glass shine, i have a dark green metalic paint, and with z you can't really see the color that well, my car looks black most of the time, i wanna try carnuba now just to see what it looks like.

While Blitz is a pretty durable carnauba, its main flaw is that it like many other waxes) requires a period of time to haze before it is buffed off. In addition, it is nearly impossible to not get residue on trim pieces and once it dries on these, it is somewhat difficult to remove. Making mattes worse, I found it difficult to see this residue until it dries to a haze. P21S and Souveran do not haze and can be removed immediately and effortlessly.

I washed and waxed the truck on Saturday as a first time P21S user and this stuff didn't disappoint. It's awesome!

GEPC follwed by P21S was simply the easiest combination I've ever used.

Even when a pesky old friend pulled into the driveway and I left some wax sitting for 20 minutes it came off with ease.

I'll still use my Souveran and Blitz for some fun, but I think P21S/S100 is my new favorite. I'll always have some around.

Add me to the list of lovers of S100. I couldn't believe how easy it was to apply and remove! Best part--no need to worry about the trim--which saves time and trouble.

I have the SEPC, but did not have time to put that on--so I am sure that I will have even better results with its use. For now, I am lookin at my other waxes and their lives are short...will use them up and use S100 as a topper..and then probably stay with S100 solely.:bow

By the way, I take it that S100 can be layered. Any special recommendations to do so--time in between layers, etc.

Heading back out tomorrow to my Harley dealership to pick up another can or two. Any reason to worry about its shelf life if it is stored in a cool and dry place?:xyxthumbs

Lone Wolf,

What did IHG add to the final appearance? I've done IHG/S100 and tried SEC/S100 this weekend but not all three. SEC/S100 beats IHG/S100 IMHO.

To my eyes it gave the paint a wetter look..Today it looks even better than when I first applied the S100..I got several compliments from people at work..One person said mt truck looked like it was covered in fresh paint...Never got any comments like those even with Zaino!! Also IHG can help in hiding some minor swirls too..

I've been getting incredible results with Vanilla Moose Glaze and S100. I like VM more than S100 SEC-the paint feels even slicker and it has a super wet look, even on white (just finished a roll of film-will drop it off in the morning and post pics tomorrow night-has a white Land Cruiser and Solara). Anyway, it is the best combination I've found. I did try VM, Meguiars Hand Polish and S100, but HP takes away some of the slickness of VM-sort of makes the paint squeaky clean instead of glassy clean. Hand Polish seems like an unecessary step to me.

Still using the Souveran and PPCL I have had since last summer.

Once it runs out you can count on me making my way down to the Harley dealer. :)

I bought my first jar 8 months ago and I've hit the bottom. There's just enough wax for one more application. Time to open the butter drawer in my refrigerator and break out jar #2.

I love S100 too. Used SEPC once and the wax a few times. Easy on/off. Great look, smooth finish, cheap. Picked up 4 jars last fall in the S100 price scare.
