Could Someone Please Recommend A Good Tire Cleaner?

i use the AA foam and gel method too, i need to do a better job getting the treads though and not just the sidewalls. I too like the look on the charger

I think its only some products (like the tire dressing) that is not VOC-compliant.

Hahaha, I was referring to the price for shipping:grinno:

Yep, I think everyone likes your Superbee, that is one sexy machine:2thumbs:

Anyone try the 'grape' dressing out there?

And Armor All Tire Foam is safe for tires right?? On my last set I had noticed cracking, but the tires had been used for probably 5+ years, and I'm pretty sure it was due to a lack of cleaning/protecting, and not being drivven very much (I've only had the car for six months or so, so it was pretty neglected.)

I ordered two gallons of it last year. Had to have it shipped to some of our relatives out in Ohio, as the VOC regulations make it so they won't ship to Pennsylvania.

Anyway, I really like the look - deep black, but not overly shiny (although you can add a second coat if you want to increase the gloss factor). Also, it's absorbed into the rubber of the tire, so you never have to worry about sling. Can't really comment on the durability, as the car is not a daily driver, and I still wash it just about every weekend, at which point I also re-dress the tires.

When I did the full detail this weekend, I cleaned the wheels and tires with the Eagle 1 All Wheel and Tire Cleaner, finished up some leftover Tropi-Care Tire Cleaner I had from last year (bottle was almost empty, so why not ;) ), and then put on two coats of the Grape Tire Dressing. The look was amazing, with just the right amount of glossiness that I wanted.

not to mention... if you buy one of the newer bottles, you get 32oz for the price of the 26oz bottle! :up

I use these one. Gives a decent look on my tires. Not too shiny at all.

For cheap OTC awesomeness - Westley's Bleche-white followed by Meg's hot shine foam, it actually lasts for quite a while if you clean yr tires really well first. Walmart just had a special on the westley's, I think I got more than I could ever use in my life for like $5.99.

I will 4th, 5th, w/e number we're up to, Eagle One All Wheel. 2 weeks ago Advance Auto Parts had a Buy 1 Get 1 sale on the EO All Wheel around me, the 32oz bottles too! I bought all they had on the shelf, like 12 bottles.

Yeah, the Eagle One All Wheel seems to work well. I simply sprayed it on some tires and you could see the dirt coming off.
