Costco Yellow MFs

Maybe if we could get some feedback on washing techniques because there seems to be a 50/50 split on these things.

As for me, I use them for jambs, wheels, tires, lower sideskirts simply because I got better MF via boutiques.

I normally wash them in cold/cold with an extra rinse and some liquid chlorox bleach for colors. They never release stains for me =\

what type of stains are you getting on them?

normal car dirt comes out of my towels very easily with cold wash and woolite.

however, grease is a different animal. doorjambs seem to like to hold grease. grease will probably require a warm wash. Clorox 2 should work fine, I'm pretty sure clorox 2 isn't really bleach but just another laundry detergent. I wouldn't use a regular detergent for my paint MFs unless they got some grease on them somehow.

Hmmm, I suppose they could be grease. But I mostly just use them to clean wheels, tires, and the wheel wells.

I'm sure it's probably the break dust though, my towels are black afterwards and don't seem to get THAT much cleaner. Maybe warm/hot would help break it down?

I know how to wash them, I was mentioning that everyone who has an opinion on these towels should say how they wash them so everyone else can have an idea on maybe why they're soft/hard, not safe/safe for paint.

sorry for the missunderstanding.

I wash mine with bi-o-kleen detergent soaked on hot, dried on hot

I'm gonna try some of those Viking Micros I keep hearing about on here and from others, think their carried at Walmart or Kmart?

they're carried at k-mart. the two particular microfiber towels i'm refering to are.... the gold 6 sq. foot microfiber drying towel and the dark green quick detailing microfiber towel. just as good or better than any of the other microfibers out there.... :bigups

24-pack for about $10.

I picked up a pouch yesterday at Costco. I will be washing and testing them out in the near future.

G35 let me know what you think of them.

I guess I notice a little shedding, but I'm not as anal as some about that so it's no biggie.

Still think they are a great deal. I don't use them for QD, but have lots of other uses...like as mentioned before wheels. I don't notice any shedding BTW...and my car is black!
