Hello guys, my name is Alex and am new to this forum. I am currently using the Meguiars g110v2 DA with the following:
Pads:
Lake Country 4" orange pad
Lake Country 4" White Pad
Lake Country 4" black pad
Meguiars 6" Yellow Pad
Meguiars 6" Black pad
Chemicals:
Meguiars Deep Crystal Line (Paint Cleaner, Car Polish, Wax)
Meguiars Ultimate Compound
m205
question #1:
My question is, I was detailing my parents minivan, trying to "correct" the paint from swirls and I managed to reduce them by using Ultimate Compound and the Deep Crystal Line. However, they are still there...
I did the following:
Wash/Dry
Clay Bar
Wash/Dry/Leaf blower dry lol
4" orange pad (ultimate compound) @ 5000 rpm with added hand weight
4" orange pad (deep crystal paint cleaner) @ 5000 rpm with added hand weight
4" white pad (Deep Crystal Car polish) @ 3000 rpm with machine weight
6" meguiars black finishing pad (wax) @ 3000 rpm with machine weight
Light swirl marks were still visible, paint was shining nice though hahaha.
Question #2:
I also have m205, what is the correct process for using the mirror glaze product?
m105
m205
anything else or would that be it?
Thanks in advance for your help guys and for taking your time to read this :-D :tumblewee
