Correcting black VW paint

I just bought a ten-year old VW with black paint in average condition, meaning plenty of swirls and marring. I'm planning to start with M105/LC orange pad using my Flex 3401, which is the heaviest cut combo I own. Will this be enough to fully correct hard VW clearcoat?
 
No way to know without trying it. Detailing isn't an exact science so without the car in front of me and actually trying a few combinations out, no way to know for sure if that combo will get everything out.
 
I have a 3 year old black GTI, yep - hard paint! M105 will work, but, take your time and it may take 2-3-4? passes.
