Cordless Vac advice and comments

The Ryobi Tuff Sucker is a fine vacuum, lots of lasting power and quick charging battery, it also comes with attachments. It has enough pawer to doa car with some light brushing and is a lso a wet vac. We use it mostly at the house but I have done a car or 2 with it.

Yeah, I checked out the Ryobi when I was there and it looked like it would do a bang-up job...but I happen to be a floozie for anything that's yellow with DeWalt written on it! ;)

Just got the DeWalt and it is great. Fast to use and does everything, even blows. Needs more tools though so I took the ones from my upright house vac since I dont use them anyways. The DeWalt is not as powerful as my upright Hoover but does just fine for general sucking work in the car. For heavy soilers I'd still go with an AC powered industrial vac, but for regular use in the West Coast, nothing beats the DeWalt for convenience and versatility, not even the price, as its sooo expensive. I spent just over $250 total to come home with the vac, the best 18V battery and an conditioning battery charger. The battery cost almost as much as the vac. Needless to say I did not bother with getting a second battery. :)
