I have an associate who has the following problem:
So I told him:
So, Im looking for someone who has an extractor that may be able to assist this lad..........
I have a quick detailing question if you don't mind...
A few weeks ago I was bringing home chicken breasts (raw) in a bag, and had it sitting on my passenger seat. Some how the bag leaked, and the chicken juices went all over the cloth seat. The seat looks perfectly fine, but my main concern was the harmful bacteria. I sprayed it with Lysol Disenfectant a few times...Is that good enough? Is there anything else I can do (at my house) to make sure there is no harmful bacteria in my car?
Also what can I use on the plastics in the car to disinfect as well?!
Thanks!!
So I told him:
Truthfully, i wouldnt hesitate to take it and get the seat extracted, like yesterday. The Lysol will help, and the bacteria isnt going to live long unless it has moisture, but I would sure be concerned it went into the foam core of the seat.
As for the plastics, warm water with soap is really all you need....When all is said and done, make a 4:1, 3:1 mix of water and alcohol and give it a wipedown, then use a plastic/vinyl protectant....
