cooling towels

Have this towel, of course I keep forgetting to use it especially after the summer is basically over. It does cool some. Golfers like leaving it in ice and pulling out to drape over your neck for the heat. Makes a difference!

IT'S HOT OUT HERE, IT'S HOT OUT HERE!, WHO NEEDS A COLD BEER!!!....IT'S HOT OUT HERE, IT'S HOT OUT HERE!, WHO NEEDS A COLD BEER!!!

When I go to the baseball game there is always someone yelling this in my earhole

Back to your regular scheduled programming... :rockon

I received the cooling towel but then the weather cooled off here!

But I did have a chance to use it the past 2 days and I have to say it works pretty good . I had shade in over 90 degree weather working both days .

The results are going to be different in the sun so we will have to see how it performs in the sun,it may dry out or not be as effective Im guessing.

You probably won't notice that much difference, other than needing to cool it off more often. It takes quite a while for them to dry out even under the hot Texas summer sun.

Youve been very helpful on this thread.

Sorry BobbyG, I never did get around to doing a reveiw on the towel.Ive been pre occupied with other things and lost my focus.Maybe next year!:D

Besides its not really summer anymore except for here, we are still having hot weather and I know Ill be using my towel this weekend in 85 degree weather.

Short reveiw....I only give the towel a 5 or 6 rating .Its not fantastic or amazing. But on the other hand its way better than nothing so I would not be without it either!!

Is it worth the money ?YES!!!TOTALLY!I think so.

Now they should make something to keep warm in the wintertime!:inspector:

I need to get one of these for work this winter. They started running the heater at the end of last month. It's been so hot it's like working outside in the summer.

I didn't think Cali had a winter DC?

It does sometimes drop to 40 degrees early mornings during the winter here .We are babies here in San diego and most of us cant tolerate even that!:D

FWIW they give out the narrow ones where I work that have those beads in it. They look like a folded up bandana they are flat and look empty until you add the cold water then they swell up. You are supposed to be able to tie them around your head like a bandana but they seem to swell up a lot. I used to use them around my neck and they feel great but I quit using them because after a while my neck and shoulder area around it would start to feel fatigued from the cold feeling. Even though they are wet you don't get wet from them they seem to stay cold a long time and I assume it is from the evaporation process that they stay or seem to stay cold. I think I have seen them in a dollar store and those you could probably have your business name put on them. Since they come in all different colors there should be someone out there that must print on them before they are filled.

:D
