He's worried about wax clogging up the lines? Every day we dump down way more oil and grease by washing our pots, pans, and eating utensils than we do in a single towel/applicator wash session. If you collect all the crap from dirty dishes that gets washed down the sink each week, it probably amounts to way more polish and wax than you would use in a year.

I agree. It is a mistake to think that wax on towels is the root of any problem. Most serious detailing problems can be related to lack of proper surface prep.
