Consumer Awareness Campaign

I posted the following message in a thread titled 'why people shop for maintainance' and thought that maybe it would be helpful to begin a topic about the possiblities of implementing a comprehensive consumer awareness campaign.



'In order to be successful, a comprehensive consumer awareness campaign should be clearly focused on meeting the needs of our customers and especially our potential customers. Here are a few of my thoughts in regard to implementing a consumer awareness campaign.



1- We need to clearly define why a consumer awareness campaign should be implemented in the first place. A focused view of its fundatmental purpose.



2- We need a concise description of the values and goals of a consumer awareness campaign. Giving the campaign a sense of meaning and direction.



3- We need to identify in real terms who, what, where, when and how a consumer awareness campaign will be established and implemented.



4- A consumer awareness campaign should be focused on meeting the needs of the customer. It should not be focused on satisfying our own needs as detailers.
