Connect with AG mystery boxes

Autogeek had mystery boxes again the other day and I ordered one. After ordering, I wondered if Autopia Connect could be used for that. I bought the Wolfgang Uber Rinseless before it was on sale at Autopia by calling Ray nd used Connect.

Maybe Ray or someone could let us know if this could be done for the next time for at least the shipping charge. I ordered the $75 box and the shipping was $18.95.
 
Jrock, I don't really remember them doing it. That said. they've done things with Connect that I would have thought was beyond what could be expected before. So, what do I know? I just don't see how you match something that isn't specified. Got to be honest here, I really wonder if the Connect members haven't pushed ACC's good nature to the point that the program may not be offered again. I'm of the opinion that you can ask for too much.
 
I get what you're saying. That said, they can and do say no. In that regard, it doesn't hurt to ask. In general, they seem to honor promotions and such from AG since they're run out of the same building. Plenty of products listed on AG that isn't on ACC but of course they'll sell it to you if you ask. I'm not looking for a mystery box, so it won't hurt my feelings, but the general precedent is that ACC won't lose out on orders to AG except in the case of gift card deals since they're non transferable.
 
Well why not ask for Connect on every single order from AG? Cause its foolish.

But we can only price match identical items we have on our site. For example we can price match an identical Porter Cable polisher we have on our site to anyone else's site because we know it's the same item.

But we can't price match a mystery box from "company X" because we can't know for sure what's in the mystery box. So we can't price match anyone's mystery box since it's difficult to say exactly what you would get.

We all have our loopholes ;)
 
I'd personally rather have Ray filling my Mystery Box anyways. He's killing it on those Vega Deals free gifts!

I almost bought the $100 box just for kicks but I would have probably gotten products I already have and I already have too much stuff to use anytime soon.

Thanks for the info Ray. Maybe you could do Autopia boxes and call them "Mysteray Boxes"! :)
