There were some very beautiful cars and trucks at the Detail Fest car show.
I didn't believe I would win 1st place (or any place). They were all very nice vehicles.

When it came to the truck category...
They called 3rd place then 2nd place and I was ready to walk & then they called my name.
I won 1st place last year & I never thought two years in a row. I was pleasantly surprised.

Now the truth about the disappearance...
I wanted to go to Todd's class. They scheduled the trophies and Todd's class at the exact same time.
I went to the awards so I could leave when they called my category & head to Todd's class a bit late.
So now I accepted the award and beat feet way over to the other side of the complex to Todd's class.
A few moments later I received the message I had also won "Best Of Show". What a wonderful honor.
So I headed all the way back to the awards tent for the second award. I did
try to attend Todd's class.
Award(s) or not Detail Fest was outstanding. It is nice to meet peeps, forum folks and use new products.
It's always great to meet some of the very best detailers on the planet and share your passion with them.
