Confusion Over Detailing Terms

How about

QDN - quick detail cleaner with no protection

QDP - quick detail cleaner with protection

QLSP- quick LSP - does not clean, just protects

hey man all you guys ROCK!:woot:

I had a late day working and I never figured so many would agree that this seems to be a problem as well.

Splichy.....man kudo's to you dude for putting that very extensive list together :up

I like the fact that we can see a difference, and now label them so, those "QD's" which are traditional and now those which are in liquid form but not a traditional QD.

Some great ideas and names so far, so much so that I am torn between them. Perhaps we need to vote on the best 3 terms and post a seperate thread in the form of a "poll"? I mean afterall this is America:)

These sound good to me!

Let's collect up the ideas, vote in a poll thread and then ask the mods to update the decoder ring.

First off, are there ANY more suggestions for the TWO new names / acronyms?

Maybe start a new thread with a new title so more folks can see what we are doing and then offer a suggestion?

If not Anthony, why don't you put together the poll when you have a moment? There would be two polls, one for each new name / acronym.

I just want to make sure that we get the most suggestions possible so we can vote on it and get moderator / The Big Kahuna (DavidB) approval.

THEN, we can classify them.

Hey maybe we can have 37 polls with each product listed and we can vote on which name / acronym applies  :shocked :nervous2:

I think Autopia is much more international these days :)

I would also argue that word definitions discussions indicate a mature social group, which to my mind is good.

Yeah...I stand corrected......Autopia IS international:D

I am suppossed to go and install a clear bra and then detail this Porsche today buy it's RAINING........AGAIN:angry So that might be another project put in the back burner and if so I'll post up a poll later today of the suggestions (I'll wait awhile in case any more suggesstions come up) and then allow the Autopia community to weigh in on the subject.

Thanks again to you all who have added your insights to this subject:xyxthumbs
