Confused on LC CCS pads for 7424

I'm somewhat confused on some of the LC CCS pads for the 7424, and when they should be used. Mainly the grey, blue, and red pads. What do each of them work well for? From what I've seen all can be used for waxes ad glazes, but surely there's differences between them.

Which pads would you all reccomend for a non abrasive filler posih, a glaze, and waxes?

LC makes pads for so many companies, that the colors can be confusing.

Here's a link to LC's web site with a description of the various pads they make and their level of cut

The red pads some vendors sell are IMHO the same as the blue LC pads

Thanks for the link, that's helps a lot.

The red pads I am refering to are manufactured by Lake Country, the CCS pads. I didn't see anything on their site listing the agression of it.

And I don't think you will. As I said, I am reasonably sure that the red pads are the same as the blue ones, but they are made by LC via their private labeling program. Refer to the info on the web site from whomever you're buying them from for their description of the red pad. See if it's not the same as LC's blue pad description.

The red one from LC is soft enough to use for glazing. I use the white one for very light cutting. What kind of car do you have? I found that on most Japanese cars, white pads or green ones are good for use with mild cleaner waxes while on German cars, you need to step up to more aggresive pads as they most likely have harder paint.
