Compressor attachment (pressure washer)

I was looking at getting a pressure washer and a freind of mine said that there is an attachment that I can put on my compressor to turn it in to a pressure washer, Can any one confirm this becuase I cant seem to find one.

Ok now heres the real question... Do these attachements work well or should i just spend the extra 100 or so bucks and get a "real" pressure washer? Also any more examples like this would be great.

for 60 bucks at big lots you can get a dedicated karcher pressure washer and its 1400 psi...i have used a similar attachment for an air compressor before and it sucked...the gun probably was only putting out 750 psi and it didnt really blast any dirt or grime away so i returned it...
