Completely owned by a 38 Ford coupe

Stop lying you know you repainted it instead of polishing it! LoL :) Great job. Amazing turnaround. I feel your pain when detailing a car that doesnt come along like you would like it too...almost at certain points makes me want to quit detailing! Again, amazing finish on a beautiful car.

I would really liked to see one of your "perfect" details!!!!!!!! The ones you get "owned " on are absolutely fantastic

Wow!

Great turn around!

Dress those tires and running boards and it'll be 100%

The paint looks very DEEP & WET!:shocked

AWESOME!

Thanks guys!!

I guess I felt defeated because I couln't figure the paint system out. I knew it was hard after the first pass, I then went with my "go-to" products for hard paint and they didn't touch it, so I increased the pad, then the pad and the product, etc, etc. I just felt like I should have been able to find a combo that worked after doing the first panel, not two hours later after reaching deep into my "product reserves."

Ron, I am with you 100%--how does that leave a body shop? Just wait until you see the Saleen I did the other day--same thing. :scared:

Scott, let's do the 5th as the 9th is my wifes b-day--not sure what will be going on. I know that you will be on vacation, but perhaps I could borrow your expertise at the shop. :D Shoot me a PM so that we can work out the details, etc.

Thanks again everyone!

LOL, I really had to fight the urge. This customer would have been furious had I dressed either.

ebpcivicsi- When *you* say you got owned by something it gets my attention ;)

Those panel contours probably weren't the easiest to deal with either! Great job.

LOL, thnaks man!

I should have mentioned that--buffing a panel took about twice as long as a "regular" panel. When buffing those contoured panels I swithced to a smaller BP and a larger pad in order to allow for a greater "contact patch."
